I present to you the world’s easiest way to cut a pineapple. Seriously, the easiest way I have ever found. EVER. Fresh pineapple is awesome. Few things are better than biting into a perfectly sweet and ripe pineapple. While freshly cut pineapple is delicious, it is also one of the more intimidating fruits to cut. I hate battling the prickly skin and ending up with pieces of the hard core mixed. Buying pre cut fresh pineapple adds up to some serious $$ and rarely is as good as freshly cut at home. And don’t even get me started on canned pineapple, yuck.
This pineapple cutter is a game changer. It is, by FAR, the easiest way to cut a pineapple. It takes less than a minute and results in perfectly cut rings every time, with no hard core mixed in. Also, an added bonus is that it creates a little pineapple bowl for fruit, smoothies, adult beverages, or whatever other creative use you have in mind. So perfectly cut pineapple rings + cute little fruit bowl to put it in?! Probably the highlight of my day.
- Cut top off pineapple.
- Insert tool so that center lines up with pineapple core
- Twist clockwise until you reach the bottom of the pineapple.
- Lift out your amazing, fresh-cut pineapple from the prickly skin.
- Remove top and slide out rings.
- Finally, devour!!
So there you have it. The world’s easiest way to cut a pineapple. Looking for your own pineapple cutter? Check this one out from amazon. Also, as an FYI, I bought mine from the grocery store down the street from my house. This post is entirely my opinion with no marketing ploys from any giant pineapple cutter corporations 🙂 I truly just really like it and don’t want anyone else to struggle cutting pineapple like I did. Anyone else want to share their own methods or ways to cut pineapple?
